As a child I remember on occasion telling my mother, “I wish…” followed by any type of want that I had at the time, and her response to me was always “Be careful what you wish for, it might come true.” This always made me wonder “Why wouldn’t I want it to come true?”

As I write this watching the snow fly outside, I can’t help but think how tired I am of this winter and how I can’t wait for spring, as I’m sure many of you readers feel the same way.
